6. Color Animation

Please follow the steps below to create a color animation.

Step 1:
Open the file-- X Drive-->Multimedia Library---> 0-Animations Lessons--> Animation Lesson 5
**Check the Image tab and make sure your image is set to RGB (otherwise it wont be able to add color!!!)

Step 2:
Add layers and using your Paint Bucket Tool to add color to each part of your picture. (For the lined paper, I used the paste into command). To create this, I worked in my layers panel. I kept duplicating the top layer and adding one new piece of color on each new layer until I filled each piece of my picture and the top layer should be completely colorized.

*Special note about paste into-> find a picture of a piece of paper in Google images. Select the space of the paper using your quick selection and then Edit-->Paste Special--> Paste into. You will have to MERGE this layer with the previous layer so that they show as one image in your frame.

Step 3:
Switch your view to Timeline View. On frame 1 make sure that only your bottom layer is turned on. It should look like this:

Step 4:
Keep duplicating the frame and turning on one new color layer with each new frame.
This is what it will look like half way through:
This is what it will look like completley through:
.
Step 5:
Make sure to change your time for each frame to be .5 seconds. Try it!

Step 6:
Save your image as a .GIF called "coloring" in your folder on the X drive.
Finished product should look something like this!
Step 7:
Import your example into your PowerPoint slide

7. Words Disappearing
