DO NOW: What is your Top 5....?

For our next project, we will utilized Adobe Premiere Elements 11.

"Adobe® Premiere® Elements 11 software helps you edit video using smart, automated options, enhance your movies with pro-quality effects, and then share on virtually any screen. Live in the moment knowing that you can easily turn your everyday videos into memorable home movies" (Adobe, 2012).

We will practice together by creating a short video highlighting your "Top 5 List". Today, first please identify what "Top 5 List" you would like you use. Make your list in a Word document. Save.

Some examples could be:

  • Top 5 Places to Travel to
  • Top 5 Things to do before graduating high school
  • Top 5 Movies or TV Shows
  • Top 5 Actors/Actresses
  • Top 5 Artists
  • Top 5 Authors
  • Top 5 Candy bars
  • Top 5 Animals
  • Top 5 Teachers
  • Top 5 Foods
  • Top 5 Cafeteria foods
  • etc.
TOP FIVE PROJECT
1-Find and save your Top Five Pictures in the pictures folder.  You will alter your pictures in Adobe Photoshop. 
You will be asked to save your pictures in folder number 11-Top 5 Intro Movie-->pictures folder
2-Setup your movie in Adobe Premiere Elements.

3-When setup is complete, you will be instructed to create 8 title slides for your movie. Each title will be 3 seconds in length. The following title slides will be created:

1-Top 5 ___________
2- A Movie By
3-Your Name
4-Multimedia 1
5-Block _____
6-Music By
7-Name of group or singer
8-The End

Your Top 5 pictures will be inserted at a length of 5 seconds.

Transitions, effects, sounds and music will be added.
