Variety Project

For the next few weeks we will be learning how to use various tools and techniques in Adobe Photoshop.  The tools and techniques you will be learning will allow you to enhance the graphics in the projects you will be working on.


Section 1--Filters

Requirements:

Original Picture
Original picture changed 5 times using filters and Edit-- >Fade Filter Gallery
One of your filters must be Graphic Pen

In your PowerPoint, make sure you list the filter and mode you used!  HINT: Save each picture with the name of the Filter you used and the Mode.

HINT:  To make each picture the same size in PowerPoint:




Section 2--Liquify

Help with Liquify

Requirements:

3 Pictures (Be sure to show the original and the changed picture)
     1-Person
     1-What ever else you want to use
      1-Using the Push Left Tool

In your PowerPoint, make sure you list the tools you used in Liquify.

Section 3-Lighting Effects

Requirements for your PowerPoint slides:
      1.  Use two different original pictures which will show the
          "before and after" lighting effects.
    • One must be a house with lighting effects which make it look spooky and haunted
    • One must be a singer/band with lighting effects which make it look like they are in the middle of a concert.
      • Filter --> Render --> Lighting Effects
      • Edit --> Fade Lighting Effects
      2.  Label the lighting effects used in your PowerPoint slides.
    3. To add clouds to your picture:
  • First create a new layer: 
  • From the menu choose Layer-->New Layer
  • Set your colors for your clouds in your toolbar
  • Goto Filter-->Render-->Clouds
  • Change the opacity and/or the blending options of the layer.
